Energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction are two of the most important research issues currently receiving international attention. I believe that our Sustainable Buildings Research Centre (SBRC) at the University of Wollongong will provide leadership in the development of sustainable energy technologies in the built environment.

Resume

Dr Zhenjun Ma obtained his BEng and MSc degrees in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2001 and 2004 respectively, and received his PhD degree in Building Energy Efficiency and Automation from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2008. He worked in Shanghai HITACHI Electrical Appliance Co. as a design engineer from 2004-2005. Before joining University of Wollongong in 2011, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Building Services Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
